The {{brand.appName}} community is a space where students of the same school can share information safely. To write posts or comments in the community you must agree to these Guidelines, and violations may result in measures such as deletion of content and restriction of use. These Guidelines apply together with the https://yourcampus.io/terms(terms.md) and the https://yourcampus.io/privacy(privacy.md).
1. Nature of the Community
- This community is a closed space in which only enrolled students and members who have completed school verification may participate, and a User may use only the boards of the school for which the User has been verified.
- The community operates on a displayed pseudonymity (pen-name system) basis, shown by a nickname or a per-post anonymous number. This is not "complete anonymity"; the Company separately retains identity-verification information required by law. Unlawful conduct may entail liability under applicable law.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following content and conduct are strictly prohibited. The Company acts on content falling under the below on a zero-tolerance basis.
- Illegal or Harmful Content
- content that violates applicable law;
- obscene material, sexually explicit content, sexually exploitative or abusive material;
- any content that sexually objectifies minors or exposes them to harm (zero tolerance).
- Infringement of Others
- insult, defamation, damage to reputation, harassment, or stalking of a specific individual or group;
- unauthorized disclosure of another person's personal information such as real name, contact details, address, or photographs (doxxing);
- content that promotes or glorifies violence, self-harm, or suicide.
- Discrimination, Hatred, Incitement
- discriminatory or hateful expression on grounds such as race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, or sexual orientation;
- content that incites or promotes violence, terrorism, or crime.
- Illegal Transactions and Harmful Inducement
- the trade in, brokering of, or promotion of gambling, drugs, weapons, or illegal goods and services;
- the dissemination of fraud, phishing, or malicious links.
- Spam and Commercial Abuse
- unauthorized advertising or promotion, repetitive or bulk posting (flooding), pyramid schemes, or inducement.
- Political and Current-Affairs Incitement
- organized posting for the purpose of political or current-affairs incitement (restricted for compliance with applicable law).
- Abuse of the Service
- repeated false reporting, forgery or alteration of verification information, impersonation of others;
- collecting or posting content via automated programs (bots, crawlers);
- exploiting vulnerabilities of the Service.
3. Recommended Conduct
- Please use respectful language toward one another.
- Please do not spread unverified information as if it were fact.
- Please share information that is helpful to other students.
- If you come across inappropriate content, please use the report function.
4. Reporting and Blocking
- Users may report inappropriate content, comments, or Users. When reporting, the User selects a reason and may enter details where necessary.
- Users may block a specific User so that that User's content is not shown to them.
- The Company reviews received reports within a reasonable period and, where a violation is confirmed, takes measures such as hiding or deleting content and imposing sanctions.
- Content for which reports accumulate above a certain number, or for which a clear violation is confirmed, may be automatically and temporarily hidden (blinded) for review. Blinding is a recoverable state distinct from deletion.
5. Types of Measures and Sanction Stages
- The Company may take the following measures against violating content:
- Blinding (temporary hiding): hiding content until it is reviewed (recoverable).
- Deletion: deletion of content for which a violation is confirmed.
- The Company applies the following sanctions progressively against violating Users:
- warning → 3-day suspension → 7-day suspension → 30-day suspension → permanent suspension.
- Where a violation is serious or repeated, steps may be skipped or permanent suspension imposed immediately.
- In a suspended state, write actions such as posts, comments, likes, scraps, and reports are restricted, but viewing, editing timetables, personal settings, block management, and filing appeals may continue.
- Content subject to a lawful request from a competent authority may be deleted, blocked, or otherwise acted upon within 24 hours of receipt of the request.
6. Appeals
- A User may make representations regarding a sanction or content measure imposed on them through the in-Service appeal function.
- The Company re-reviews and notifies the outcome within a reasonable period (in principle, 7 days) from the date the appeal is received.
- Where the re-review confirms that a measure was unjustified, the Company restores the content or lifts the sanction.
7. Changes to These Guidelines
These Guidelines may be amended in response to changes in the community environment and in law. Upon amendment, notice will be given via an in-app notice or notification, and in the case of a material change, re-consent may be requested.
If you find inappropriate content, please use the report function, and for urgent matters please contact us at yourcampus.cto@gmail.com.
